The animal kingdom has three main levels. They are herbivores ( giraffe ), omnivores ( hippos ), and carnivores ( lion ).

Herbivores- Herbivores are animals that only eat plants and grasses. These animals are mainly found in forests, savannahs, and many more places that have no deserts or snow. Herbivores would not be found in Antartica because there are not alot of plants there and it is mainly snow. An example could be a Giraffe. They live in hot places and they eat leaves or grass.

Omnivores- Omnivores are animals that eat both plants and meat. These animals can be found in forests, savannahs, and many more places that have snow, desert sand, and basicaly everywhere else. An example of an omnivore would be a hippo. Hippos live in water, they eat seaweed, yet when herds cross the body of water the sometimes eat or play with the carcases.
